Using Desmos: Free Online Graphing Calculator

In the following video, I’m showing how to graph a basic linear equation (y=2x-2). I walk you through entering in the linear equation, locating the x and y intercepts and zooming in and out.

Next, I graph a quadratic (second-degree) equation (y=x^2-5). Using the keypad offered by Desmos, it takes only a minute to find intercepts, vertex, and points of intersection with other graphs displayed on Desmos.
