Once you set your first session, you can try out calculus tutoring at a reduced rate. Then you can take time to consider whether future calculus sessions would work for you.
It is important to you that you can trust your tutor. This is both for calculus competence as well as listening to your specific concerns. Your calculus class, and likely your instructor, is difficult enough. You need a calculus tutor who can add a bit of patience and compassion to your calculus tutoring session.
Calculus Tutor Rates For Long-Term Tutoring
Should you wish to continue after your preliminary tutoring session, you can pay the package rates above. The larger the package of hours, the lower your calculus tutor rates.
Calculus Tutor Rates For A One-Hour Session
When you pay for a one-hour session, you set it on the scheduling calendar at an available time that痴 good for you.
After you pay via PayPal, you値l receive an email confirmation of the payment. Next, once you set the actual session time, you値l receive an email confirmation of that, as well. Lastly, you値l receive a text reminder of the session time an hour before your actual session commences.
Calculus Tutor Rates for a 5 or 10 hour package of times
While the payment process for a 5 or 10 hour package of times is similar to paying for a one-hour session, setting the sessions will be different. For example, you have basically 3 options for setting calculus sessions once you buy a package of calculus tutoring hours:
- Set them all at once as recurring session times. This works best for students who prefer set schedules.
- Set them all at once, but at different times. If your schedule tends to vary, or you already have your class syllabus, this option works well.
- Set them as needed.
In the last example, you値l have a gift code to use to pay. This code works quite similarly to an Amazon code. Like an Amazon code, you値l have a long alphanumeric code you can use to pay for your session.
Digital Record of Your Math Work
You will have a digital copy of your work you can access from any device. This could be a laptop, iPad or even a phone.
Despite any fears you may have, you will likely appreciate the easy access to your work. This allows you to access your notes anywhere, any time. Right before a test, this is extremely helpful. You can see your own notes, in your own handwriting. If there is something important for you to learn, you can highlight it in bright pink. That way, you will find it faster.
One student even showed his work from his phone to his teacher. She accepted it for credit.* This saved him the need to transcribe it. He was ecstatic!
*Please note that this type of math teacher is rare. For this particular student’s next class he had to print out his notes. Still beat having to transcribe them, though.
